We believe in the power of human curation, not algorithms. We keep it ad free, agenda free, and always rooted in real local insight.
🧠 OUR WHY Most local coverage today is paywalled, click-baited or written by someone who doesn’t actually live here. We saw a need: a smart, respectful, and scroll-friendly way to stay in the know without being overwhelmed. So we built it.
CurationsLA started in 2023. We rebranded in Winter 2025, from CuratedLA to CurationsLA, and most recently, rebranded to a .org so that our domain reflects our purpose and promise: to be public-facing, accessible, and mission-aligned.
